Unplug the molex adaptor from the Hard disk drive.
This may be a little tight but has no clips and can just be pulled away
from the drive. |

Remove the IDE cable from both the Hard disk drive and DVD Rom.
Again this has no clips and can be pulled away from both of the drives. |

You can now lift out the Hard disk drive housing, you may need to unclip
the wires that run down the right hand side of the housing |

Unclip the yellow DVD Rom power cable and then lift the DVD Rom
drive out of the xbox, again this will be complete with the housing. |

Unplug the IDE cable and yellow power
cable from the motherboard.
Both drives have now been detached. |
